Charming home on gorgeous Greenwood Lake. Relax with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine on the large deck and enjoy the beautiful lake views. The house has four spacious bedrooms, living room, kitchen, two full bathrooms and a laundry room. The deck, backyard and fire pit are situated on the lake side so be prepared for breathtaking sunsets. A wide paver-block bulkhead leads to a private 21-foot dock. We have two kayaks and a stand up paddle board that are available or you can bring your own boat/kayak. Boats and kayaks can also be rented from one of the local marinas. The house has central air so you won't have to tinker with those loud and inconsistent window A/C units. Like most (if not all) lakefront homes, our house is serviced by well water so we installed a full house water filtration system. There is also an additional R-O water faucet right on the kitchen sink! The house sits across from Storms Island so it is situated in a no-wake zone, this means no loud boats racing through and it's also much safer for swimmers and kayakers. Need internet access during your trip? No problem - enjoy free wifi/internet access during the length of your stay! For you techies - every bedroom has CAT-6 hi-speed internet access as well! The house is also protected by fully integrated Nest smoke/carbon detectors. If you like space and privacy, this is the perfect home. We built this house for us but there's no reason why you can't enjoy it. Restaurants and marinas are also nearby. One of the more popular lakefront restaurants is just 0.5 miles away. The views are just as beautiful in the off-season. It’s also a great ski house as Mt. Peter and Mountain Creek are a short car ride away. The house is perfect for a family or two. No smoking. Other things to note Our cabin can accommodate 6 guests and that is the MAXIMUM number of people permitted on the property at any time! (Please include infants and children in the number of guests) More than 6 people on the grounds must be requested and may be approved based on the request. Our cabin is on a private one-way resident street so we have parking for 3 cars ONLY. Our driveway holds two cars and one car in front of garage (parked parallel). Please do not park in the yard so we can keep our grass green :) If you need additional parking, you can park a car at the park and ride in greenwood lake village or the park and ride at the south shore of the lake and carpool from there. We do not have central air but have some AC units in the home. There is a large unit in the kitchen/family room and another unit in the master bedroom. There is no AC unit in the second bedroom but there is a fan. Please note that there is no access to washer and dryer.

The cabin sits on the shore of sparsely populated Mount Glen Lake, with spectacular water views from every room. There is a fireplace/woodstove in the main room which warms up the house on cold winter nights. One of the upstairs bedrooms has a desk overlooking the water, for writers and artists on retreat. On a summer eve you will see fireflies dancing about and bright stars in the sky. The large backyard overlooks barns and rolling meadows, with views of Wawayanda State Park in the distance. The camp is at the base of Wawayanda mountain right between the iconic hikes "Stairway to Heaven" and "Pochuck Boardwalk" on the Appalachian Trail. Hike right from camp up to "Pinwheel Vista" (named one of NJ's best viewpoints!) At the entrance to the property is the Valley Farmers Cooperative that sells local grass fed meats and artisanal farm goods. You can walk two minutes to Heaven Hill Farm which has plenty of goods, produce, and fun fall activities like pumpkin picking and haunted hayrides. Drive your car from route 94 directly to your campsite nestled in the woods with a great view of the valley. A perfect getaway from the city with plenty to offer. About 10 minutes down 94 is the beautiful town of Warwick or about 4 minutes in the opposite direction is the town of Vernon. Warwick is a quaint small town with plenty of great restaurants and bars, and famous for its apple picking. Vernon has plenty to offer as well including the popular ski resort/waterpark Mountain Creek and Minerals Spa (Located just under 10 minutes away.) The quiet charm of Wawayanda State Park appeals to hikers, campers, swimmers and boaters. Forested hills surround Lake Wawayanda creating a restful backdrop for canoeists and fisherman, while steep mountains challenge casual as well as serious hikers. A twenty-mile stretch of Appalachian Trail runs through the park, while the top of Wawayanda Mountain offers sensational views. More than sixty miles of trails are marked in the park. The Space: Camp right off the Appalachian Trail Guest Access: This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with land owners to offer unique accommodations in beautiful outdoor spaces. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed or a queen-size bunk bed (see photos for the exact setup). The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that’s provided. Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean. Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days. Our recently renovated one bedroom Valley View condo is conveniently located on the third floor of The Appalachian building at Mountain Creek Ski Resort, Water Park and Bike Park. It is nicely furnished with all the amenities to meet your needs, including a fully equipped kitchen, large modern bathroom, two flat screen TVs and a complete array of linen, towels and bedding supplies. The bedroom offers King Size Bed and the Living Room is equipped with a pull out Queen Size Sofa Bed perfect for kids or smaller adults. Approximately 500 sq. ft. of living space, very clean with modern layout and a great Valley View. The Ski Resort usually opens mid December and closes mid to end of March. (weather permitting) The Bike Park opens in late April, early May and closes usually the last week of October. (weather permitting) The Water Park is open during summer months only.
